In what should be a surprise to no one, more and more research is showing that obesity is extremely unhealthy. Most recently a study has linked obesity to 13 different cancers. Previous studies had shown links to “ONLY” 5 forms of cancer.
- adenocarcinoma of the esophagus
- colorectal cancer
- breast cancer in postmenopausal women
- uterine and kidney cancers
You would think that the fat acceptance movement would start looking at their lifestyle the way we look at smoking and alcohol abuse, but the so called Fat Activists just blamed doctors for fat shaming them. The amount of diseases the obese risk getting is starting to look more and more like a truth.org ad.The newly identified cancers are
- gastric cardia, a stomach cancer
- liver cancer
- gallbladder cancer
- pancreatic cancer
- thyroid cancer
- ovarian cancer
- meningioma, a type of brain tumor
- multiple myeloma, a blood cancer
Now that the numbers have nearly tripled you would think people would start waking up! Between diabetes, heart disease, metabolic syndrome, and a growing list of cancers obesity continues to prove its nothing but a slow ugly death sentence. Sadly the comment section shows that many fatties would prefer to deny what is quickly becoming undeniable, passing blame on to society and doctors for their own bad habits.
Yep, obesity isn’t the issue here using heroin to lose weight is! MDS here used every possible excuse they could to avoid the truth. “Too poor to be thin” has to be my favorite…I guess those starving third world country kids are rich and have been scanning us this whole time eh?
So it isn’t stuffing your face with processed foods all day that causes cancer its not seeing a doctor, which is also not the fatties fault because they are too embarrassed? Wendy should have gone to the summer Olympics because she would have won a gold medal in mental gymnastics!
Hopefully in 20 years people will view the obese like you would a chain smoking alcoholic. Fat Acceptance can only deny this for so long and its only a matter of time before a big bloated name like Tess Munster or Whitney Thore suffer in the public eye and swallow the truth instead of everything in the fridge.
