You may have seen me write about @Mazzie before, she was the fat activist that started the #NotYourGoodFatty hashtag and kept it going for about a week before she got distracted by *fat food joke here*. She believed that a “good fatty” was one who ate small meals, and went to the gym but it was just meaningless because that’s not how weight is lost! I have long felt that a “good fatty” is one that snarks it up on social media and talks about how fat is a feminist issue and they refuse to eat less than a day’s worth of food per meal because something something patriarchy.
Well it turns out that little miss @Mazzie has a fitbit and while her account is notoriously private…she has been posting her daily walking distance via fitbit and it’s laughably low. So low in fact that I believe I will cover more distance 8 hours from the time I wake up than she did in 3 days! Sound insane? Not really she only averages about a mile a day! As you can see in the image below @Mazzie walks 1.3 miles on a good day!
Her profile pic is in a car so I guess we shouldn’t be surprised! So yes “radical fat activist” Mazzie founder of the now stolen #notyourgoodfatty hashtag isn’t very active at all! She is so inactive that as I previously stated I will quite confident that I will easily cover 3 miles in the first 8 hours of my day tomorrow! I’ll be tweeting pics of my distance via my smartwatch and after the day is over I will post my total walking distance as well!
Why you ask? Simply because weight loss isn’t hard! As someone who has just celebrated 4 years of staying slim I know first hand all it takes is some discipline.
Much like the typical fat activist though the only thing @Mazzie seems to run is her mouth! A cursory look at her twitter activity shows that she averages ~50 tweets a day which is a tweet every ~45 steps! That’s a tweet for every .02 miles! To illustrate just how inactive she is in real life in comparison to social media I just walked to my bathroom & back in my tiny NY apartment and that was 30 steps!
I know what it takes to lose weight its simple lifestyle choices and I will help illustrate that by walking more on my way to work than Mazzie does in a day, then to really drive the point home I will blow past her 3 day walking average just by working a typical day! This isn’t magic it’s just relying on your legs to take you places instead of a scooty puff Jr. If you spend more time tweeting than you do walking it’s time to put down the phone and realize you have made some really shitty choices in life.
